Our Micro Finance company ‘Centrum Microcredit Limited’ was set up to provide loans to low income women entrepreneurs in semi-urban areas. ‘Financial Inclusion’ is our key objective and we wish to empower the un-served and under-served women operating small businesses by not only providing them with business loans but also helping them imbibe financial literacy.
Ranjan has close to 25 years of rich experience in the Banking & Financial Service Industry. He brings a wide array of professional and industry contacts, a deep understanding of Risk Management and Financial Markets and international best practices in Governance, Human Resources, etc.
Ranjan joins us from Standard Chartered Bank where he was the Global Head of Commercial Banks, Securities & Asset Financing sector and was responsible for the P&L of the bank’s Wholesale Banking franchise. He has held several Senior Management roles in Standard Chartered in India and Singapore. He was also associated with HSBC and CRISIL.
Ranjan has done his Masters of Business Administration from The University of Northern Iowa - USA and Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
Prashant has over two decades of experience in the Financial Inclusion and Impact Investing sector. He was with Standard Chartered Bank for 18 years & led a number of strategic transformation projects for the bank. Prashant is a Wharton Fellow, holds a PGDBM (Finance) and has graduated with a major in Entrepreneurship Management.
Praveen brings over 17 years of experiences in the Financial services and Microfinance Industry. Before CMPL, he has worked with FirstRand Bank, Janalakshmi, ICICI Bank and GE Money. His last assignment was with FirstRand Bank as Micro Lending Head where he was instrumental in setting up the Financial inclusion vertical of the bank. Praveen is a Mechanical Engineering from M.Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, Banglore and has done Executive Programme in Business Management (EPBM) from IIM Calcutta
We provide loans to only women entrepreneurs and self-help groups under the Joint Liability Group (JLG) model. We offer loans that can be used for income generation like setting up or expanding a small business, thereby empowering these financially excluded women to raise their living standards.
We are presently operating through 50 branches spread across 16 districts in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Orissa, powered by our well-trained team of over 450. We are honoured to have partnered more than 90,000 women entrepreneurs in urban and semi-urban areas.
